Cathy Van Hoang, creator of the very cool "Jellyfish Air Plants", is also a designer, exotic food enthusiast, photographer, belgian beer fancier, black coffee drinker, and enjoys large dogs. Cathy is an art director in Los Angeles, one of my most favorite cities...ever, which makes her even more interesting! Her website to purchase these creative pieces can be found here:

One thing that I love about these functional little creatures would be the incorporation of shells (sea urchin serves as the umbrella of the jellyfish). I love, love, love the ocean and it's extraordinary features, like an ombre painted sea urchin shell! They seem to be very versatile as well, being used as wedding favors, christmas tree ornaments, and wall decor. I would consider myself a fairly 'earthy' kind of person, so I do appreciate the idea of using pretty natural materials (there are some plants that were not as privileged with beauty, sorry). These pieces inspire me to be creative with natural resources, because in my opinion true beauty lies within nature.
