1) I used my trite concept in an original way by trying to perceive someone else's perspective of the symbol. My trite symbol was a Peace Sign, so I tried to imagine an old man's perception of peace and tranquility. For me I visualized an elderly man who lives on one of the gorgeous bayous in Louisiana, who goes canoeing every night as the moon is rising to restore his peace.
2) The composition of my art is very diverse, ranging from different prisma techniques, and various color schemes. Up close the detail may be lacking (given I went for a pretty ambitious scenery), but I believe the general colors and idea make my art successful. My decision to do the boat was debateable, but I think it tied in the piece nicely.
(Also I don't have a picture of my planning with me but I will try to post that later)
