This was a new meduim for me since I've never used clay before. I wanted to do something fun/ cute for me and my friends to take off to college, so I put their school and name on the little cups. They're small enough to keep jewelery and stuff in.
This was my main screen print for the Art fair and I would consider it very successful. A lot more people than I imagined came to get this screen print which was super awesome. I wanted to create something that would appeal to kids my age.
This was my re-do project. Originally this design failed because I scraped off the gel with the filler. So since I could still see the pencil marks I decided to try it again.
This piece was my No since I hate using oil paint. It feels very nice and soft but I don't like how the colors will easily blend. This shows a girl looking towards us with a lake and mountains in the back, I think it's very relaxing.
This piece was done with water color and mixed media. I printed out the pictures and painted the back. I wanted to make a quaint piece based on what makes North Carolina since I'll be moving far away soon.
Part B:
A piece I made that I'm proud of is the glasses painting. I really like the ways the colors work and how I got a feel for my artistic style

The most challenging for me was the figure drawing unit. Trying to draw peoples bodies in 2 minutes is very challenging, but I got better at drawing facial features throughout the year.
What I took away from Art 3 was what kind of artistic style I have / want to build upon, and which would be mainly pop retro kind of art. I learned some fun techniques I can take with me through life (mainly screen printing).
